NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy can count on the alliance’s continued support to put his country in a strong position ahead of potential talks with Russia to end the war. "For the long haul, if necessary, we will keep supporting Ukraine and that is our message to Putin," Rutte told reporters on Thursday. He also added that Kyiv will eventually join NATO.
