"It was well over 24 hours. I hunkered down in my car and stayed on TikTok and kind of made videos throughout the night of the situation at hand and what was going on. And just you know, I made sure I had plenty of food and water."

4. SOUNDBITE (English) Wyatt Kreel, sheltered in car during hurricane:
"It was pretty bad. The waters rushed up pretty high. I parked up against the Planet Fitness building where I like to exercise the most at, and I parked up on a good side hill, so I watched the water down below. I’ve stayed away from trees and poles. As the night went on, I did see trees start to fall over. Like I said, I’ve been a survivalist my whole life, so I knew what to stay away from and where to hunker down at."
