These animals were rescued from unusual places. In August, the Fulshear Police Department was called out to a suburban home for a possible intruder. The culprit was a baby alligator. In July, a tiny kitten was rescued after getting trapped inside a recliner chair. In September, authorities were alerted when people saw a whale in distress underneath a wharf in New Zealand.
