Hewson: "What’s confusing about like what we do and sort of the Hollywood aspect is you hear so many stories of people, they were like, ‘I walked into my first audition and I just, like, became a star.’ Or like there’s this element of being an actor where people don’t want to sort of tell you how hard they’ve worked. They want it to look like it’s really easy. But like, I’ve been doing this professionally for almost 18 years. LIke, you’ve been doing it for…"
Fahy: "Yeah same."
Hewson: "We’ve been doing it for a long time but people just don’t really tell those stories."
Fahy: "Yeah."
Hewson: "It’s usually like, you know, the one that was found on the street and then became a big star."
Fahy: "Yeah, it’s like, it took you 15 years to become an overnight success kind of vibe. Yeah."
Hewson: "Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Like someone emailed me today and was like, ‘Oh, I’m so excited for you. This is so great. It’s going to be a big moment for you. Someone’s going to call this an overnight success, even though you’ve been doing it for 18 years (laughter.)’ I was like, ‘Yeah, thanks.’"
