A California swimmer is suffering from 15 puncture wounds and deep bruises after he was attacked by a sea lion. Matt Beatty says he immediately punched the animal thinking it was a shark. It turned out to be an aggressive sea lion. His finger is covered in bite marks. It took Beatty five terrifying minutes to swim back to shore because the sea lion kept blocking his path.
