8. SOUNDBITE (English) Nick Hague, SpaceX Crew-9 astronaut:
"We’re going to launch as a two person crew and then we’re going to land as a four person crew. And one of the unique challenges of that is how do we integrate the other two crew members into the Dragon operations when they’ve had very minimal Dragon training before they launched? The teams on the ground have helped not only get us ready, but they’ve already started helping Butch (Butch Wilmore) and Suni (Suni Williams) train to understand what they’re going to need to do inside of, inside of the Dragon."

10. SOUNDBITE (English) Suni Williams, NASA astronaut:
"We’re excited to fly in two different spacecraft. I mean, we’re testers, that’s what we do. You know, we look at different aircraft, spacecraft, whatever, evaluate it. And that’s a pretty unique opportunity."

LEADIN:
Two stranded astronauts are one small step closer to coming home as a spacecraft prepares to blast off.
The SpaceX Dragon capsule will dock at the International Space Station with plans to return to Earth with the stuck NASA crew in February.
STORYLINE:
When they came aboard the ISS in June, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams had no idea they would be stuck in space for so long.
They had expected to return to Earth around a week later.
But the Boeing Starliner capsule they were due to travel home in had thruster failures and helium leaks, raising doubts about its ability to return safely.
Instead, the spacecraft left the ISS empty earlier this month, leaving Wilmore and Williams behind.
But help is on its way.
A SpaceX rocket is due to blast off on Thursday, September 26, bringing NASA’s Nick Hague and Russian Aleksandr Gorbunov to the orbiting laboratory.
Initially, two other astronauts were also due to be onboard, but they’ve been cut to make room on the return trip for the two stuck at the International Space Station.
Bumped from the SpaceX flight: NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Stephanie Wilson. NASA said they could fly on future missions.
