"Everything that you see everything what you hear everything that you feel is Philipp Plein. We are a lifestyle brand. And we are expanding in many directions and we have already started, I actually started doing interior and furniture it was the beginning of my career 26 years ago, 27 years ago, so the collection has always been there, you know, because I am coming from interior design and now we are just completing the offer in our, let’s say, portfolio. And what you see today is just a small part of what you can expect from the hotel. I think we have a very strong DNA, our style and our design language is very recognizable."

STORYLINE:
Philipp Plein is expanding his portfolio, by opening a hotel in the centre of Milan.
The designer said that throughout his career he has always had a keen interest in interiors and furniture, so the hotel is an obvious next step.
However, his show during Milan fashion week focussed on the clothing.
In usual Plein fashion – garments were glamorous and wouldn’t look out of place on a night out. Many were sequinned and matched with sequinned accessories.
Another accessory included oversized sunglasses, and small clutch bags. The show was followed by a party for guests.
