Dr. Joe Hummel flew to Turkey for a new head of hair. Driving across Istanbul, he made his way to the Estenove Hair Clinic where some patients come from the U.S. due to the price. In the U.S. hair transplants can cost $15,000 or more. However, the clinic in Turkey charges about $4,000 which includes a stay at a five-star hotel. Dr. Hummel underwent follicular unit extraction, where existing hair follicles are removed one by one and individually implanted into bald spots.
