Erik Menendez is calling the new Netflix series about the murders of his parents "horrible, vile and appalling." "Monsters: the Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" implies Erik and his brother, Lyle, were carrying on an intimate relationship in their youth. "It is sad for me to know that Netflix’s dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime has taken the painful truths several steps backward," he says in a statement released by his wife.
