STORYLINE:
The southwestern city of Plav in the Czech Republic was submerged with knee-high flooding on Tuesday after heavy rainfall pounded the region.
Emergency service workers and volunteers drove slowly through the flooding, where trees, benches and community boards were half-submerged.
Police announced three deaths in the Czech Republic on Monday.
Heavy flooding has affected a broad swath of Central Europe in recent days, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria.
There have been at least 16 deaths reported in the flooding.
