The Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation has just released video of part of the ill-fated Titan submersible. In June 2023, five people died on a private expedition to see the wreckage of the Titanic. About an hour and 45 minutes into its dive, the Titan submersible lost contact with its owners, OceanGate Expeditions. The newly released video shows the tail cone of the Titan on the seafloor, about 990 feet from the bow of the Titanic.
