Stocks rallied across the globe as the Federal Reserve’s half-percentage-point interest-rate cut reignited investor sentiment. Nasdaq 100 contracts jumped 2%, fueled by bets of resilient American growth and lower borrowing costs. In geopolitics, more telecom devices, including walkie-talkies, have exploded across Lebanon. The country’s health ministry says the explosions have killed 26 people over two days and wounded more than 3,000. Meanwhile, Israel’s military has declared a new phase in the war and says troops are to be diverted to its northern border.
