A string of medical emergencies were reported Tuesday afternoon following the mysterious explosion of thousands of pagers used by Lebanese people, including members of the militant group. Hezbollah has accused Israel of orchestrating coordinated attacks in Lebanon, which killed several and wounded almost three thousand people. Pagers, which Hezbollah members have been using to communicate, exploded across the country yesterday afternoon. Israel has yet to comment on the attacks. On the economic front, the Federal Reserve is widely expected to lower interest rates this week after holding borrowing costs at a two-decade high for more than a year.
