“We were sitting at home safely, we heard the strike, people started calling me and told me that my house was bombed. I consider my children martyrs in the eyes of God. Enough with the war and enough with the blood merchants, leave the country alone, enough with the destruction.”

“I’m their grandmother, (of the) children, aged between 11 and one. They are all children. Their mother, my daughter and her husband, they were all living in one house, and the house is a little dilapidated, they were in al-Mawasi. They went to have a change there in Khuzaa, they were staying at the entrance to Khuzaa. They called us at dawn and told us this happened, and that’s what happened, and I wasn’t with them.”

STORYLINE:
Israeli strikes on Gaza on Wednesday killed at least 20 people, including 16 women and children, according to the local health ministry.
An airstrike early Wednesday killed 11 people, including six siblings aged from 21 months to 21 years old, according to the European Hospital, which received the casualties.
The dead from the strike near the southern city of Khan Younis included three other women, a child and a man, according to the hospital.
Mahmoud al-Qara, father of two daughters killed in the strike, urged for the bloodshed to stop.
"Enough with the war and enough with the blood merchants, leave the country alone, enough with the destruction,” al-Qara said.
The children’s aunt, Bushra Qdeih, was in disbelief.
"They are only innocent children, they have no connection to any organization. Innocent, innocent children. These are the children of heaven, isn’t it a pity?" she said.
