I am by nature curious. I always kind of my eyes and ears and antenna are always up. So it’s always a reinvention of what I love. There’s definitely a connective thread, but at the same time, culture changes around us, the world changes, and you spend. It’s like, you know, I don’t have kids, but it takes nine months to do this. So it’s kind of like twice a year you have another baby. And certainly that’s exciting. And, you know, when I see it all come together, you know, one of the models actually during her fittings said, what’s the best part of it? And I said, there’s so many steps. I said, It’s not over with the fashion show. It keeps going. When you see people wearing what you show in a show and you see them on the street or an event or going to work. So it’s a long process and I love doing it.

"I talk about pop culture and I’m glued and I absolutely loved the new incarnation of ‘Ripley.’ I, you know, I love the book. I loved Alain Delon and in ‘Purple Noon’ back in the day. And, of course, I loved 25 years ago, Jude Law and Matt (Damon) and Gwyneth (Paltrow). But seeing this romantic, moody, dark story shot all in black and white, I thought it brought something very different to the romance of it. So definitely there was this sort of dark side of romance that’s not sweet, not insipid and mysterious."

STORYLINE:
Fashion sometimes involves risk and designer Michael Kors would tell you some risks aren’t worth taking. Last year, his September show was held outside and the weather did not cooperate, so he decided his spring/summer 2025 collection at New York Fashion Week would bring nature inside instead.
