STORYLINE:
Israeli troops surrounded a house in the West Bank city of Jenin on Thursday and urged residents to leave.
This operation is part of a large-scale military raid in the Israeli-occupied West Bank over the past week, aimed at dismantling militant groups and preventing attacks, according to the military.
Meanwhile, Palestinians are fearful of the conflict widening in Gaza.
It wasn’t clear what the army was looking for in the particular home in Jenin.
Israel has been operating in Jenin refugee camp for the past week, digging up roads and searching houses.
At least 18 have been killed in the camp, Palestinian health officials say.
Israel’s military says it has killed 14 militants there.
Earlier Thursday, Palestinian health officials said Israeli strikes in the occupied West Bank killed six people, including the son of a prominent jailed militant.
Israel said all of those killed Thursday were militants who had been involved in attacks.
