"The identity of Frieze Seoul is it is home base of Frieze in Asia. So for me it is very important that we have dialogue with the region. Of course we have non-Asian galleries that come to want to meet the audience from here but just as important is for galleries and artists and institutions from the region to dialogue with the broader audience. That is really the mandate of the fair. The best fairs are platforms for dialogue. Platforms for not only for collectors and patrons but also museums, curators, and writers to gather, to have dialogue with galleries and their colleagues in the art world for the long term. This is where opportunities happen. This is the real hallmark of great art fairs and I think Frieze Seoul is really solidifying itself as great Asian hub."
