The mother of a 13-year-old-British girl who died after a severe reaction to a Costa Coffee hot chocolate says she wants to make sure no other parent loses their child in the same way.

Hannah Jacobs died within hours of taking a sip of the drink in February last year.

Her mother Abimbola Duyile is calling on the food industry to take allergy training more seriously, and says she “lies awake at night” wondering if she could have prevented her death.
