7. SOUNDBITE (English) Matthew Ramsey, Artemis II mission manager:
“Well, the launch vehicle stage adapter, which adapts the core stage to the upper stage for SLS (Space Launch System) is about to roll into the Pegasus barge where it will go down to MAF, Michoud Assembly Facility, to pick up a couple more pieces of hardware before it goes to KSC (Kennedy Space Center).”

9. SOUNDBITE (English) Matthew Ramsey, Artemis II mission manager:
"It’s mainly a structural piece. So it transmits loads down from the Orion spacecraft into the core stage and then also transmits loads up. It’s a big, low transmission device."

12. SOUNDBITE (English) Lauren Fisher, structural materials engineer at Marshall Space Flight Center:
"We’re around it so much and we realize how big it is, but we sort of get used to it until you see it like this. And then you see it stacked on the entire core stage and it’s massive, you know. And it’s just, it’s really incredible to see the finished work and see it all together."

14. SOUNDBITE (English) Lauren Fisher, structural materials engineer at Marshall Space Flight Center:
"It hits me over and over again in waves. It’s just like, this is happening. Like, I have hands on this. I’ve seen it, it’s something that I always hoped we would go back to the moon. Did not think I would be this, a part of a team that’s this influential in making that happen. Artemis II is great and it’s leading up to Artemis III where we’re landing. And again Marshall’s had such an important role and I’m so proud and happy to be a part of it."
