STORYLINE:
Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka for talks in Beijing on Tuesday.
In his remarks during the meeting in the Chinese capital, Xi said he wanted to work with Rabuka to "steer the general direction of bilateral relations in a world intertwined with chaos and turmoil and push forward the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Fiji.”
Rabuka’s meeting took place during his ten-day tour of China which began on August 12.
