"So this is the Rimac Nevera R. It’s a new generation of our car, which is the most powerful electric car, but also the most powerful production car in general, 2,100 horsepower. Our opinion is that electric cars have to be better in almost everything compared to combustion cars. It’s not like good in our view, to push this by regulation. You have to actually make and add value to the customer. So we are starting to take orders now. We will ship the cars to customers next year. There will be only 40 units, limited to 40 units, starting at €2.3 million."

For more than 20 years, each August, automotive aficionados from around the globe flock to California’s Monterey Peninsula, to celebrate cutting-edge design, engineering marvels and very expensive cars.
The event, part of Monterey Car Week, is called "The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering," where the latest and most luxurious multi-million-dollar super sports cars are unveiled.
Among the numerous high-profile reveals, the spotlight shone brightly on several new hypercars, all of which, despite their race-car aesthetics, are street legal and available for purchase, provided one has a few million dollars at their disposal.
