Trucks carrying food used the Adre crossing with Chad, which was closed for six months. Millions of people in Sudan have been at risk of famine since war broke out last April. But the fighting has cut off the city of Al Fasher. The International Committee of the Red Cross is appealing to the warring parties to allow supplies into the city, where thousands of civilians are trapped.
