“yes, moms demand action. There is no reason to have assault weapons readily available in this country to whomever wants it. I just feel like we can have gun legislation, reasonable legislation. Let’s talk to people. I’m a teacher, public school teacher during my 29th year on Monday, and yesterday we held drills at school to teach the kids how to hide in case somebody enters the building with a weapon. Elementary kids shouldn’t be taught this. It shouldn’t be a fact of life around our country anymore.”

And I think everybody is seeing that they’re feeling that they’re feeling, the excitement and stuff. And so, I am with it."

US Vice President Kamala Harris is promising to work to eliminate federal taxes on tips paid to restaurant workers and scores of other service employees.
That echoes a pledge that her opponent in November, Donald Trump, has made, in a rare moment of political overlap from both sides.
