Ukraine and Russia trade blame for fire at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant | DW News | DW News

A fire at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in Ukraine has been extinguished according to Russian state media. The plant is located in southern Ukraine and is currently under Russian control. Ukrainian and Russian authorities confirmed that one cooling tower was damaged in the fire. Moscow blames the fire on Ukrainian shelling, but Kyiv says Russia is responsible.
