Fans in Taipei celebrated on Sunday as Taiwan’s female featherweight boxer Lin Yu-ting won the first Olympic gold medal of the category for her native island in Paris. Lin was fighting Polish female opponent Julia Szeremeta and secured her gold medal in two rounds.
