"Salburun is a Kyrgyz name for an ancient way of hunting. This way of hunting consists of three parts – eagle hunting with birds of prey, Tigan dogs – it’s a fast dog that goes for hunting with Kyrgyz, and archery. All these three parts consist for Kyrgyz hunting and local people try to save this tradition, to teach young children how to behave with an eagle, with a falcon, how to behave with a dog and step by step it become very popular in Kyrgyzstan."

"There are usually two chicks in a nest, we take only one, and the second one is definitely left, so as not to disturb the population. And if there is only one chick in the nest, we do not touch it. First of all, we look at the parents – if they are large and strong, then we take them."

Now this tournament will be held annually, this year it was held for the first time."
