Dozens of people are reportedly dead, after an Israeli airstrike on a school used as a shelter for displaced people.
The attack in Gaza City took place early on Saturday. According to Gaza’s civil defense agency around 100 people are thought to have been killed – with many others wounded. The Israeli military has confirmed the strike, claiming it hit a Hamas command and control center embedded within the school. It says around 20 Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants were operating from the site.
