2. SOUNDBITE (English) Michael Berry, resident of Matthews, North Carolina:
“I don’t know that I would vote for either party at this point. Because I don’t want to be responsible. I know every vote counts, and I just don’t see one worth committing to.”
3. SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Cava, resident of Charlotte, North Carolina:
“I haven’t completely decided yet. I know I will not be voting for Donald Trump. And, I’m considering voting for Kamala Harris if she becomes the eventual nominee. But I’d like to see more about what she has to say and ultimately how that shakes out.”
4. SOUNDBITE (English) Wanda Cherry, resident of Charlotte, North Carolina:
“I’m excited about the presidential election. We’ve got a lady, and I’m glad that the president realized that we need somebody younger."
5. SOUNDBITE (English) Jack Carmen, resident of Charlotte, North Carolina:
“I don’t feel like I can vote, vote for Trump because of moral and ethical reasons of his track record, what he said, what he’s done. But I don’t know enough about Kamala Harris to say immediately I’m going to vote for. So I’d have to, like, take the time to, like, look into some of her policies, see what she’s advocating for instead of just being there. Like, not Trump option, the other option kind of thing.”

“The issues I’m most concerned about are, immigration, debt, foreign policy about conflicts and, police relations, I guess.”
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Cava, resident of Charlotte, North Carolina:
“I don’t have many concerns about the overall direction of the economy. I just hope that it continues to on its sort of present course, but wanting inflation to decrease, of course, and to level off.”
10. SOUNDBITE (English) Michael Berry, resident of Matthews, North Carolina:
"As far as inflation goes, I mean, to me that’s just something that’s naturally going to happen. You know, that’s just the way things go. Things get more expensive and you pay more. So as long as it doesn’t, you know, skyrocket. I’m okay with that.”
