Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, aid efforts by the United Arab Emirates in the small city of El-Arish in Northern Sinai and the Palestinian territory have costed the nation around $700 million,Ā Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi told Bloomberg in early July. The UAE is using its relationships with Israel and Egypt to play a leading role in diplomatic and aid efforts in the conflict and has indicated a willingness to help prepare for a postwar scenario.
