Tennessee House Falling Into Sinkhole

After living in her Tennessee home for 20 years, Amanda Blount noticed cracks in the walls. A large sinkhole developed underneath Amanda’s home, making the simple task of walking around difficult. The limestone found in much of Tennessee can be prone to sinkholes. But years before this happened, Amanda bought sinkhole insurance. The cost to save this house has reached almost $400,000. Because of the forethought to buy insurance, Amanda has only had to pay $4,000 out of pocket.
