The frantic 911 call from a dad at the center of a hot-car tragedy was released. A 2-year-old died after her father allegedly left her in his car on a scorching hot day. He says she was asleep in the car and he didn’t want to wake her so he left the engine running and the air conditioner on. When the little girl’s mom came home, she found the car off and no air conditioner. Police say Christopher Scholtes allegedly got distracted by playing his video game and putting his food away.
