"I would definitely say we expect a lot of the currently competing Team USA athletes to come here, this can be there home away from home other than the Olympic village and our high performance training centres. So, we are excited to welcome any Team USA athlete that wants to come here and we expect a number or most of them to come through."

"We looked at lot of incredible venues in Paris but really the Palais Brogniart was just so impressive. I mean the architecture both outside and inside…really wanted to create a venue that tapped into the Team USA looking feel but also that felt Parisian and the Palais Brogniart certainly does that. We wanted to create a welcoming space for our athletes and for our alums and our sponsors and our donors and our national governing bodies to really come celebrate and cheer on Team USA ad we hope we have done that."

STORYLINE:
Palais Brongniart, a French stock exchange built by Napolean in 1808, will serve as the Team USA House during the Paris Olympics.
United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee spokesperson Scott Chipman said "we looked at lot of incredible venues in Paris but really the Palais Brogniart was just so impressive."
He said the committee "really wanted to create a venue that tapped into the Team USA looking feel but also that felt Parisian and the Palais Brogniart certainly does that."
Team USA House, which would be open to the general public as well, will be operational from the Opening Ceremony on Friday.
Besides current athletes, fans can also expect to interact closely with former top athletes and other entertainers during the Games.
