Authorities say an armed robbery suspect tried to escape police by dropping down the side of a Florida hotel. The dangerous plan was "dramatic," the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said on social media. Deputies say the suspect jumped from balcony to balcony on his descent from the 6th to the 2nd floor. But despite his efforts to get away, officers were waiting to arrest him. The suspect faces several charges, including robbery with a firearm and resisting an officer without violence.
