Technology outage hits six airports in Thailand

STORYLINE:
Passengers faced delays and manual check-ins at six airports in Thailand on Friday, including both international airports that serve Bangkok, following the global IT outage.

Thailand’s airport authority posted a list showing that operations of 16 airlines that had been affected.

Kerati Kijmanawat, the authority’s president, encouraged passengers to arrive at check-in counters at least four hours before their scheduled departure time.
