Mudslides kill at least 229 people in Ethiopia, search for survivors continues

A search operation for survivors of a mudslide that killed at least 229 people in southern Ethiopia continued on Tuesday. The death toll, which rose sharply from the initial one of 55, included many who tried to rescue survivors, local authorities said.
