When pregnant woman Ola al-Kurd was brought dead to a hospital in the Gaza Strip on Friday, medical staff rushed her into the delivery room and worked on rescuing her baby. Shortly afterward, a baby boy in stable health, but suffering from a shortage of oxygen, was placed in an incubator at al-Aqsa Hospital in north Gaza. Al-Kurd was among seven people killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
