STORYLINE:
Supporters of former President Donald Trump gathered outside his residence in New Jersey to show their concern after a shooter opened fire at his rally.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee said the upper part of his right ear was pierced in the shooting.
People gathered in Bedminster, New Jersey on Sunday, holding signs and shouting for drivers to honk in encouragement.
"We need a man like Trump," said Lou Damore, who brought a teddy bear dressed like Trump. "He’s the only man on this earth that can do it. You saw God on that podium last night. Okay, you saw the man upstairs on that podium last night. There’s nobody else on this planet that can do what this man is doing. So we all got to get out and fight."
"It’s terrible that they keep saying that he’s a menace. When he’s not doing anything, it’s everybody else that’s against all of us," said supporter Nancy Jakubczyk, who said she was at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
