STORYLINE:
The NATO summit commemorating the 75th anniversary of the military alliance officially kicked off its second day Wednesday.
There exists an even higher security presence at the summit today compared to the first day.
Metal barricades prevent pedestrians and cars from approaching the convention center where leaders discuss pressing global security issues, including those presented by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Stoltenberg said he, “expects Allies to take important decisions on further enhancing support to Ukraine, strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defence, and deepening partnerships with partners in the Indo-Pacific region,” according to a NATO press release today.
