"It gives you a chance to be more real, you know, who knows what it is or isn’t out there. Who knows what the unknown is. But when you’re in a horror film or a science fiction film, you can go a little further with gesture and voice and try different things. Break the weight of physical reality and go into gesture and vocal performance that I think is very liberating."
