A recent Instagram post by Brenda Biya, daughter of Cameroon’s President Paul Biya, has sparked media speculation about her sexuality. The post features a photo of Brenda kissing Brazilian model Layyons Valença, shared on the final day of Pride Month. Cameroonian law prohibits same-sex relations with penalties of up to five years in prison, but Ms. Biya is currently living abroad. So how is the story being received in Cameroon?
