Discussions about Biden’s mental fitness overshadow NATO summit | DW News

US President Joe Biden says he’s still running for president – telling journalists he can get the job done.

Biden appeared at a news conference in Washington at the end of NATO’s 75th anniversary summit. He spoke at length about his achievements in office, saying he was the best qualified person to run for president. Biden’s mental fitness has been under scrutiny since he appeared confused at a debate last month. Several top Democrats have withdrawn their support for his re-election campaign this coming November.

DW’s Bejamin Alvarez Gruber has more on the reaction to Joe Biden’s latest verbal slip-ups.
