Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter trial opened with the prosecutor describing the horrifying moment he accidentally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchin to death. Prosecutors also played a chilling video of frantic efforts to save Hutchin’s life. The jury heard a 911 call made by a script supervisor moments after the shooting. She can be heard blaming the tragedy on an assistant director, not on Baldwin. If found guilty, he faces up to 18 months.
