Jake Gyllenhaal and his brother-in-law Peter Sarsgaard play adversaries in ‘Presumed Innocent’

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in his first TV series in "Presumed Innocent" for Apple TV+. It’s based on the novel by Scott Turow which was adapted to a film in 1990 starring Harrison Ford. This version was written by David E. Kelley. Gyllenhaal plays a prosecutor accused of murder. His courtroom adversary is played by Peter Sarsgaard, who also happens to be his brother-in-law in real life. Sarsgaard is married to Gyllenhaal’s older sister, Maggie.
