After Kenyan government drops controversial bill, why are people still on the streets? | DW News

Protests have returned to cities across Kenya, with demonstrators demanding that President William Ruto step down. Police tried to deter the crowds with tear gas and water cannon, and by closing key highways. The mostly young protesters continue to agitate against Ruto, despite his decision to withdraw an unpopular finance bill that triggered protests and deadly violence last week.
