Expanding Access to Virtual Care for Veterans

Virtual care can help Veterans access health care outside of traditional, in-person appointments and empower them to take control of their health. However, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs understands that not all Veterans have the resources to engage with virtual care. Offerings such as the Connected Devices Program, mobile carrier discounts, and ATLAS (Accessing Telehealth through Local Area Stations) can help Veterans receive the care they need.

If you’re interested in these programs but unsure about your comfort level with VA virtual care tools, Virtual Health Resource Centers can help. To learn more about virtual care offerings, and to find the Virtual Health Resource Center location nearest you, visit the Bridging the Digital Divide webpage at https://telehealth.va.gov/digital-divide.
