A fire broke out at a building supply warehouse on Chicago’s west side Tuesday evening, creating a huge plume of black smoke that was visible for blocks. Chicago Fire Department officials posted on social platform X just after 6:30 p.m. that firefighters had responded to the fire at the Commercial Pallet warehouse and discovered pallets in flames. #fire #chicago #unitedstates
