Gyllenhaal: "It’s just fun, you know, it’s fun acting stuff when you get to, like, play out. You know, we were in room like, you know, like a fight we had, you know, different fights we have."
Sarsgaard: "Oh, the cross-examining."
Gyllenhaal: "And you know, you’re like… And everyone is excited for it too, like, you know, like, ‘Let’s see how Peter’s going to, you know, what’s he going to do today?’"
Sarsgaard: "’Where were you on the night of the 17th?’"
Gyllenhaal: "You know, it’s just fun. It’s fun and definitely dark but like, we had, like, we had a lot -"
Sarsgaard: "Yeah, we laughed together."
Gyllenhaal: "I like watching you when you’re like, you know, you go, you move in and out as an actor. Like sometimes you’re like, really in it. Sometimes you’re like, you’re doing it and it. I just love sometimes when we were like we were acting with each other and like, acting, it was just funny. It’s just so funny. It’s just, you know…"
Sarsgaard: "When you just step out for one second and look at it, you’re like, you are…"
Gyllenhaal: "I’d look across the room and he’s in the scene. He’s like looking at me like, (glares) It’s like, ‘OK, OK.’"
Sarsgaard: "I got you. Tone it down."
