“The U.S. arm sales to China’s Taiwan region is seriously against the “one China” principle and the Three Joint Communiqués, especially the August 17th communiqué. This severely violates China’s sovereignty and security interests, gravely damages the China – U.S. relations and the peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and sends a serious wrong signal to the Taiwan independence separatist forces. China strongly deplores and rejects it.”

“The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway demonstrates the common aspiration for promoting cooperation and development of the three countries and will inject strong impetus into the economic and social development of the three countries and even the Central Asia region. This once again proves the huge significance of the Belt and Road Initiative, and shows that the concept of building a community with a shared future has stricken a deep chord with the people in Central Asia.
