11. SOUNDBITE (English) Jennifer Aniston, actress – on why she took on the role:
"I just thought it was a fun idea to play a stripper with a heart deep down under and it was sort of an opportunity to do sort of a theme that we’ve seen, which is a road trip family film, but just kind of have this underlying dark side. Eventually they all find each other and find a family and save each other, so it was kind of a very sweet story."
(Reporter: Because you’re playing a stripper, inevitably you had to strip in the movie. How difficult was that? Did you have to learn dance routines?)
"I did, I learned the dance routine, that was pretty much it, so that was a lot of fun."
(Reporter: And a lot of time spent in the gym I imagine?)
"Yeah, sure, but we’re always in the gym (laughs)."
13. SOUNDBITE (English) Jason Sudeikis, actor – on liking the family and comedy elements of the movie:
"The opportunity to to make both those elements better, to have the family stuff work a little bit better and to have the comedy work even better, but I thought it (the story) was in really great shape and getting to work with Jen again was fantastic."
(Reporter: You’ve worked with her before – what was it like this time around?)
"It was more, we got to do more together. This is the most we’ve gotten to do. I think if you combined everything we’d done together you’ve get around 7 minutes, so it was nice to do the whole movie."
14. SOUNDBITE (English) Jason Sudeikis, actor – on the cast being supportive when Aniston had to film her stripping scenes:
"Yes, how can you not be. That’s a brave thing to do."
(Reporter: I’m guessing you’re glad you didn’t have to do anything like that?)
"No, not on film at least. That’s how I got the job though, I had to strip for the people at Warner Brothers and New Line, that’s how they gave it to to me."
(Reporter: A casting couch moment?)
"An ‘audition,’ yeah, more like a bench."
15. SOUNDBITE (English) Will Poulter, actor:
"I’m very honored to be part of this project. It’s a really funny movie and it’s the kind of film that I’ve been wanting to do for a long long time and to be here and the fact that it’s coming out and I’m in my home town, London, it’s amazing. It’s a beautiful thing."
16. Medium of director Rawson Marshall Thurber singing autographs
17. SOUNDBITE (English) Rawson Marshall Thurber, director:
"I thought it was a really funny script and those are rare enough, but I think what I like mostly about it was what it had to say about family, which is family can be anything you make it as long as there’s love in it, which I know is old fashioned to say, but the heart of it was more interesting than the comedy, to me."
