"This is the most important exercise after 14 years where Argentina is participating with 7 ships, 2 destroyers, 2 corvettes, and 3 ocean patrol vessels, plus 2 helicopters. This is transcendental, the exercise in military material, that our Navy can exercise with the most important Navy in the world, and three weeks ago, we did it with France."

"More than an alignment, we have reinforced and strengthened our alliance with the United States. STORYLINE:
The USS George Washington aircraft carrier, one of the jewels of the US Navy, conducted joint operations with Argentina for the first time in over 14 years, marking a new strategic alignment between the two countries under the administration of President Javier Milei.
Accompanied by US Ambassador to Argentina Marc R. Stanley, Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino and Argentine Defense Minister Luis Petri spent the day on the aircraft carrier watching part of the operation that included the deployment of several F-18s and F-35 fighter jets.
